Ecological basis
Japanese boar use evergreen and deciduous broadleaf woods, satoyama secondary forest and bamboo stands. Forest, dark forest and bamboo jungle represent those main covers and feeding grounds.
Usage
Meat from the hills
A kill yields pork. Fire-based kills produce cooked pork, and Looting increases the amount just as it does for pigs.
Behavior
A sounder in the woods
It walks the woods alone or in a small sounder. It never damages crops or ground and keeps its distance when approached.
