Usage
Finding it
Search forest and birch woods for vines climbing the trunks. Pick the ripe pods by right-click; the vine stays and bears again.
Behavior
Taking a cutting
Shear the vine to take a cutting; plant it against a trunk at home and it spreads there just the same.
How far it spreads
A vine only creeps so far from where it started — the spot it grew wild or the trunk you set a cutting against — so it never swallows a whole cabin. Plant another cutting further along to carry it on.
The vine and the tree
The vine merely rests against the trunk, so felling the tree still yields its logs; a vine that loses its hold withers away. It does not climb cultivation nets or trellises.
