A stone mortar for milling grain. The pestle is fitted to it — load the grain and time does the rest. No heat, no power.
Obtaining
Usage
Rough rice to polished rice
Load rough rice and wait: the hull and bran come away and leave polished rice. The rice bran collects in the byproduct slot and rides out with the rice to a hopper below.
Milling flour
The same stone mills grain to flour — wheat becomes wheat flour, while buckwheat becomes soba flour.
Input, work in progress and output
Restock the input slots on the left. A valid batch moves into the bright working slots in the middle, then finishes in the output slots on the right. Restocking or replacing input does not change that batch. Working items can be recovered, but cannot be inserted directly. Removing part of a batch cancels it; recover the remainder before starting another.
