A box that shaves katsuobushi into flakes — ride the block over the blade on top and the shavings collect inside.
Obtaining
Usage
Place, load, wait
Load katsuobushi and wait: it comes out as bonito flakes. No heat source is needed. Freshly shaved, it carries the aroma for stock and topping alike.
Input, work in progress and output
Restock the input slots on the left. A valid batch moves into the bright working slots in the middle, then finishes in the output slots on the right. Restocking or replacing input does not change that batch. Working items can be recovered, but cannot be inserted directly. Removing part of a batch cancels it; recover the remainder before starting another.
Behavior
The one tool that shaves
Only this box turns a dried block into flakes; grinding belongs to the suribachi and grating to the grater — one process, one tool.
