Wooden Steamer

CategoryCookware

Two square wooden trays stacked over a hagama kettle. The steam rises through their slatted floors. The water is supplied automatically.

Usage

Input, work in progress and output

Restock the input slots on the left. A valid batch moves into the bright working slots in the middle, then finishes in the output slots on the right. Restocking or replacing input does not change that batch. Working items can be recovered, but cannot be inserted directly. Removing part of a batch cancels it; recover the remainder before starting another.

Behavior

Steam and heat indicators

The steaming diagram sits below the output arrow, with a flame beside the working slots. The flame lights when a heat source is present and goes dark when it is removed.

Separate from pots

Steaming belongs here instead of in a pot. No water bottle appears in recipes. Slots may stay empty, but each cycle processes one fixed recipe set; extra ingredients never multiply its output.
